World Cup 2026 (Q) – Mali: Djigui Diarra out and Aboubacar Doumbia backs-up

Mali loses its goalkeeper. Djigui Diarra will not be available for the two matches against Chad on November 17 and Central Africa on November 20 at Bamako’s Stade du 26 Mars. The Eagles’ last line of defence has suffered a left shoulder injury. He will be replaced by Afrique Football Elite (AFE) goalkeeper Boubacar Doumbia. These matches are part of the 2026 World Cup qualifiers. This is the second withdrawal in the Malian squad, following that of Adama Traoré “Nos”.
