The 26th day of Togo’s national first division football championship (D1) ended on Sunday 14 May with a single victory, that of ASKO of Kara over Unisport FC of Sokode (1-0). Of the eight matches scheduled, seven were settled by parity results. AS Gbohloe-Su des Lacs was forced to draw (1-1) in Aného by Semassi FC. Gomido FC of Kpalimé held ASCK to a 0-0 draw at Kara municipal stadium. AS Togo Port held Dyto FC of Lomé to a 1-1 draw.
With four games left in the championship, Sara FC, last in the standings with 17 points (-21), can still believe in maintaining their position. The Bafilo-based club have drawn two games in a row. The new victory of Kozah Kondonas, ASKO of Kara, allows them to consolidate their leadership with 59 points (+25) against 52 points (+23) for ASCK.
