Rennes have just defeated one of their direct rivals, Olympique Lyonnais (7th, 53 pts), and have now beaten Troyes (4-0). The Cameroonian Karl Toko Ekambi was the star of the show. He scored his first double since his arrival in Brittany last January. These are his second and third goals with the Bretons. Rennes (56 pts) are now three points ahead of Lyon, Ekambi’s former club.
