Defending champions Wydad Casablanca challenged Simba on the road in the first leg of the CAF Champions League quarter finals. In a game with many duels, it is the local side Simba who won in front of their public thanks to a goal of Jean Othos Baleke (30th). The Tanzanian club had several situations to put the game to a final rest but lacked composure in front of goal. The slender lead keeps Moroccan hope alive in the return leg.
