CAF Awards 2023: Who will be the Women’s Coach of the Year?

There are ten candidates.The Confederation of African Football has announced the ten candidates shortlisted for the Women’s Coach of the Year award, ahead of the CAF Awards 2023 ceremony to be held on December 11 in Marrakech.

Last year’s winner, South Africa’s Desiree Ellis, is in contention to succeed her, having not only won the Women’s AFCON, but also taken Banyana Banyana to the World Cup Round of 8 for the first time in their history. However, she will have to compete with Reynald Pedros, who also made history with Morocco at the World Cup, as did Randy Waldrum with Nigeria. Mohamed Amine Alioua, winner of the Women’s Champions League with AS FAR, will also have a chance.
