Young Africans confirm their position

The Tanzanian journey continued in South Africa. Young Africans showed their superiority over Marumo Gallants with an uncontested dominance in the second leg of the CAF Cup semi-final. Despite their 2-0 win in the first leg, the Tanzanians dominated the away game with control. Fiston Mayele (45th) opened the score at the end of the first half. In the second half, all suspense disappeared when Musonda (62nd) increased the gap and sent his team to the final of the CAF Cup. Marumo Gallants’ the South Africans could not cope with the pressure even though they reduced the gap through Chivaviro (91st). Young Africans, recently crowned Tanzanian champions, are now in the first final of their history in the competition and are dreaming of the double.

USMA extinguishes ASEC

USMA will be in the final of the CAF Cup. The Algerian club fought hard against ASEC Mimosas in the first leg to get a draw that would decide the fate of this home match. And USMA did not disappoint. With the objective of passing the round and landing in the final, Bousseliou (28th) gives himself the means to realize their dream. With a very solid defense preventing the Ivorians from being dangerous, they validate their qualification for the final with a second goal scored by Belkacemi (80th).
