On Saturday 21 October, the Cameroonian proved once again that he is indispensable. The winger first scored before providing an assist in the Bees’ 3-0 win over Burnley. Bryan Mbeumo has already scored 5 Premier League goals in 9 games. Last season, the 24-year-old scored ‘only’ 9 goals. Brentford fans can therefore expect him to break that record before the end of the current campaign.

Those two goals came against Mexico in a friendly (2-2, 11 June) and Burundi in the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers (3-0, 12 September).
