FC Bayern Munich will face Werder Bremen this Saturday, May 6 without Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting. The Cameroonian striker has been injured since the Champions League second leg against Manchester City (1-1). “Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting and Alphonso Davis will be absent. Choupo still feels a discomfort in the knee, and our physiotherapists are on it. His return will be in a few days, but it has been a little longer than we thought,” said Thomas Tuchel in a pre-match press conference.
The Bavarians have regained the lead in the standings following their victory against Hertha Berlin on Sunday, April 30 (2-0). Dortmund had been beaten by Bochum a few hours before (1-1).
