Al-Masry signed an important victory on Sunday 13 March. The Egyptian team won at home against the Congolese club Otôho d’Oyo (1-0), for the fourth day of group C of the CAF Cup. Al-Masry snatched the victory late in the game thanks to a goal by Hassan H. Ali (83rd).

In the other group game played in Garoua, Cameroon, Coton Sport failed to climb up the table as they let a 2-1 advantage slip off against visiting TP Mazembe who fought back with an equalizer in the last minutes of the game.
